Qualifications

• Current ABC or BOC certification (or eligibility).
• Bachelor's degree in prosthetics and/or orthotics or foreign equivalent, with ABC Board-Eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians in evaluating need for prosthetic/orthotic services and discuss options.
• Examine and evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Design prosthetic/orthotic devices and select materials and layouts.
• Perform fitting, including static and dynamic alignments.
• Provide patient instruction on device use and care.
• Maintain detailed clinical notes and participate in follow-up with patients and physicians.
