Atrium Health in Rome, GA is seeking a Phlebotomist to support laboratory workflow. You will collect blood via venipuncture or capillary methods, ensure accurate patient identification, and deliver specimens to the proper lab area. The role requires phlebotomy training or 6 months experience, plus a HS diploma.

Responsibilities include PPE use, regulatory compliance, and potential training of teammates. 40-hour week, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, with full-time benefits.

Formación

• Must have Phlebotomy certification from AMT/ASCP/ASPT/NHA/NPA.
• High School or GED diploma with phlebotomy training or 6 months hospital experience.

Responsabilidades

• Collect and process blood specimens by venipuncture or capillary methods.
• Identify patients accurately using name and DOB against orders.
• Prepare and transport specimens to the appropriate department.
• Maintain PPE and follow safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with training new staff and students in department practices.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and SOPs.
