Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia is seeking a motivated phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. Qualifications

• GED required.
• No experience required; 1 year preferred; EKG experience preferred; healthcare/clinical lab exposure preferred.
• Phlebotomy Certification preferred (CPT)

Responsibilities

• Performs sample processing and exempt screening and monitoring tests in accordance with CMS (CLIA '88), OSHA and other applicable regulatory, established standards as may be applicable.
• Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures.
• Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks.
