Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Rome, GA, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will collect specimens, perform screens, and help ensure accurate test results across a busy lab. The position requires 3 years of phlebotomy experience, data entry ability, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Three years phlebotomy experience required.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in select states.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screenings, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions as trained.
• Verify orders using lab systems and client contact.
• Enter data accurately and navigate computer systems.
• Handle billing entry and collect payments when required.
• Process specimens (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, transport).
• Perform non-patient-facing duties (inventory, sanitizing, filing, phones).
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and training completion.
