Job summary

Responsibilities

• Consistently obtain high quality specimens by venipuncture.
• Perform special procedures as needed.
• Collect blood cultures with contamination rate below established goal.
• Establish positive patient identification.
• Follow Continuous Quality Improvement standards.
• Process specimens quickly and log collection times accurately.
