Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Phlebotomy training is required.
• Must complete departmental clinical evaluation checklist.

Responsibilities

• Receives orders for laboratory testing and collects blood from patients of any age or status.
• Issues appropriate paperwork to the Advocate laboratory or outside for processing.
• Maintains the laboratory in an efficient working state and performs lab procedures with quality control.

Education
