Job summary

Quest Diagnostics in Rome, GA seeks a Phlebotomist II to collect specimens and support patient care in a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. The role requires at least three years of phlebotomy experience and strong data entry skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.
• Flexible and available on weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens according to established procedures (drug screens, biometric screening, insurance exams).
• Administer oral solutions according to training.
• Verify and enter test orders using lab systems and client contact tools.
• Navigate computer systems and accurately enter data.
• Process specimens including labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting, freezing and transport preparation.
• Perform non-patient facing duties such as inventory, restocking, sanitizing, filing, and handling phones/emails.
• Maintain phlebotomy logs and ensure compliance with policies/procedures.
• Complete training courses timely.
