Job summary

Sam's Club in Lone Tree, CO is seeking an Optical Associate to stock, display, and maintain the optical area, assist members with eyewear purchases, take measurements, and ensure accurate ordering and repairs. You will process transactions and support labs and optometrists as needed.

Responsibilities include HIPAA-compliant record keeping, handling insurance claims, and contributing to a high standard of member service while embracing Walmart's values and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active ABO certification is required and must be maintained.
• State licensure or apprenticeship requirements must be completed within state timelines (18 months for full licensure, 3 months for minimum apprenticeship hours).

Responsibilities

• Stock, organize and maintain the Optical area and displays.
• Process member purchases and handle payments, returns, and refunds.
• Take accurate measurements for eyewear, order lenses, and perform frame adjustments and repairs.
• Coordinate with labs and optometrists regarding orders and product updates.
• Educate members on eyewear usage, care, and contact lens hygiene.
