Colonial Nursing and Rehab in Crown Point, IN is seeking a part-time or PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team. You will implement individualized OT treatment plans under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and help residents improve daily living skills.

You'll monitor progress, educate residents and caregivers, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with the rehab team to promote independence and quality of life in a supportive

Qualifications

Colonial Nursing and Rehab is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team in Crown Point, IN. What You'll Do:

• Assist with implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve residents' strength, coordination, mobility, and ability to perform daily activities

• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes or concerns to the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team

• Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies that promote continued progress and independence

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all clinical, facility, and regulatory standards

• Collaborate with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary teams to support positive resident outcomes

Qualifications:

• Active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in the state of Indiana

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Current BLS certification

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
