Qualifications

• Active Indiana COTA license required.
• Graduate of an accredited COTA program.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve residents' strength, coordination, mobility and independence.
• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes to the OT and care team.
• Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques to promote progress and independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow clinical, facility, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with rehab and interdisciplinary teams to support positive resident outcomes.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with implementing individualized occupational therapy treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Provide hands-on therapeutic interventions to improve residents' strength, coordination, mobility, and ability to perform daily activities

• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes or concerns to the Occupational Therapist and interdisciplinary care team

• Educate residents and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies that promote continued progress and independence

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow all clinical, facility, and regulatory standards

• Collaborate with the rehabilitation and interdisciplinary teams to support positive resident outcomes
