Job summary

Flagstar Nursing is seeking Certified Occupational Therapist Assistants (COTAs) to join our rehab teams serving Skilled Nursing Facilities in NYC and Long Island.

As a COTA, you will collaborate with OT supervisors, deliver therapy to patients with TBI, CVA, stroke, MS, cancer, orthopedic conditions, and track progress using EMR software. We offer flexible schedules, competitive hourly pay, and benefits with direct deposit weekly.

Qualifications

• Current NYS OTA License and Registration.
• EMR software proficiency.
• State required medical documentation for SNF work.
• Valid proof of identity and work authorization.

Occupational Therapist Assistant Job Duties:

• Collaborate daily with OT Supervisor and follow established Plan of Care for all patients.

• Provide quality therapy services to individuals in a SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinsons, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.

• Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
