Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking a COTA to provide direct occupational therapy under the supervision of a licensed OT. You will work with patients on therapy plans, chart patient progress, and ensure high standards of care in a post-acute setting.

The role requires NBCOT certification, active state licensure, and CPR upon hire. One year of experience is preferred, with new grads welcome to apply. Proficiency in Word/Excel and effective communication are essential.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire (renewal optional).
• Graduate of accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT).
• Current state license in good standing.
• 1 year experience preferred; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

• Follow or supervise OT treatment plans for patients.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software accurately.
• Exhibit excellent customer service and positive attitude.
• Assist in patient evacuation when needed.
• Maintain regular attendance and good judgment.
• Work on an interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Follow company policies and compliance training.
