Job summary

Life Care Centers of America is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct rehab care to patients upon physician referral in a post-acute setting in Tennessee. The role requires NBCOT certification upon hire, a BSOT or MSOT degree, and active state licensure; CPR certification is also required at hire or during orientation and must be kept current.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification required upon hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT).
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable state; active license in good standing.
• One year of experience preferred; CPR certification at hire or during orientation and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Follow occupational therapy treatment plans for patients.
• Establish, assess, and modify realistic goals.
• Oversee and evaluate care given by OTAs and rehab staff.
• Chart appropriately and timely; use therapy software.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow company compliance policies.
• Collaborate within interdisciplinary team to plan patient care.
