Job summary

Life Care Center Of Pueblo is seeking a certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide direct rehabilitation care under the supervision of an OT. You will work with patients per physician referral, adhering to Life Care standards and all regulations.

Qualified applicants are NBCOT certified, hold an active state license, and may have 1 year of experience; CPR is required. The position supports in-house rehab programs, growth opportunities, and ongoing CEUs.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certified upon hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT).
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable State; active license required.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
• Liaisons with patients, families and support departments to plan for patient needs.
• Demonstrates good body mechanics and sound judgment.
• Maintains professional working relationships with associates and vendors.
• Understand and follow Life Care policies including Code of Conduct.
