LTC Therapy Services is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for the rehabilitation team in Sharon, MA. You will provide occupational therapy under the direction of the supervising Occupational Therapist, helping residents regain independence in daily activities through purposeful practice and adaptive techniques.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide OT interventions within each resident's plan of care.
• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.

• Report changes to supervising OT and document sessions.

LTC Therapy Services is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for the rehabilitation team at Sharon in Sharon, MA. Help skilled nursing residents regain confidence in daily activities through treatment that combines purposeful practice, adaptive techniques, and encouragement under the supervising Occupational Therapist's direction.

What You’ll Do

• Provide occupational therapy interventions within each resident's established plan of care.
• Practice self-care routines with residents, including dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.
• Use prescribed therapeutic activities to improve upper-extremity function, coordination, and endurance for everyday tasks.
• Reinforce safe use of adaptive equipment and strategies for completing activities with greater independence.
• Report changes in residents' abilities, comfort, and treatment tolerance to the supervising OT.
• Document services and collaborate with nursing and rehabilitation colleagues to support consistent care between sessions.
