Job summary

LTC Therapy Services is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for the rehabilitation team in Sharon, MA. You will provide occupational therapy under the direction of the supervising Occupational Therapist, helping residents regain independence in daily activities through purposeful practice and adaptive techniques.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts OTA license and COTA certification required.
• Ability to follow individualized treatment plans and flag concerns needing OT input.
• Clear communication, dependable teamwork, and accurate documentation.
• New graduates welcome; skilled nursing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT interventions within each resident's plan of care.
• Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting.
• Use therapeutic activities to improve upper-extremity function and coordination.
• Promote safe use of adaptive equipment and independence.
• Report changes to supervising OT and document sessions.
• Collaborate with nursing and rehab teams to ensure continuity of care.
