Heritage Trailsis currently searching for a talented Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our team!

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate a Resident’s condition and develop an appropriate OT rehabilitation plan.
  • Help Residents to improve their mobility.
  • Help Residents through their tasks and monitor their performance.
  • Inform Residents what they should anticipate in different stages of their recovery and how they will handle each situation.
  • Maintain Resident confidence and protect facility operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by protecting Residents and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
  • Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts in resident care.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Requirements

  • Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing with state employed.
  • Minimum 1 year experience working as a COTA.
  • Experience working with geriatric patients is a plus!
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
