We are hiring for a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant in the Arlington area.

Salary based on full-time employment and max productivity: $55,000 to $65,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

The Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA, OTA) in Home Health is responsible for providing occupational therapy to patients in their homes to restore them to their fullest physical ability. The OTA performs duties in accordance with policies, procedures, and the established plan of care.

• Follow all state-specific laws governing occupational therapy in home care, and adhere to treatment plans set by the supervising OT.
• Instruct and assist patients in evidence-based treatment within the scope of practice and according to state laws.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising OT, nurse, or physician. Coordinate care with the healthcare team as appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members in therapy-related areas within the OTA scope.

Qualifications:

License Requirements:

• Current OTA licensure in the state of practice
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation
