Job summary

The Terraces of Phoenix, part of HumanGood, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in a person-directed care environment. You will assist with daily activities, hygiene and mobility while promoting independence in a warm community setting.

Work 2pm–10pm in a Phoenix location with hourly pay ranging from $19.50 to $24.50 DOE. Join a supportive team and access a strong benefits package including healthcare, PTO and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certified Nursing Assistant Program meeting state requirements.
• Minimum of one year experience preferred.
• CNA license.
• CPR.
• First Aid (As Mandated by State).

Responsibilities

• Actively engages residents in participation in daily activities within their rhythm of daily life, including hygiene, grooming and mobility.
• Proactively organizes residents’ care and alerts the IDT to changes in the plan of care.
• Identifies residents’ needs, wants and preferences and encourages autonomy in decision-making.
• Participates in planned and unplanned activities and appointments with residents including care plan meetings.

A Day In The Life

• Actively engages residents in participation in daily activities which are part of resident’s rhythm of daily life (including desired hygiene, grooming, and mobility);
• Will be proactive in organizing residents’ care and alerting the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) to needed changes in resident’s plan of care;
• Will take initiative in identifying the resident’s needs, wants, and preferences; and encourage autonomy of residents in decision-making;
• Will participate in planned and unplanned activities and/or appointments with residents (including care plan meetings);
• Work in collaboration to ensure each resident has the necessary supplies, equipment, materials, and recourses to continue to pursue interests individually, or in cooperation with others

To be successful in this job, you would have the following:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program meeting state requirements
• Minimum of one year experience preferred
• CNA license
• CPR
• First Aid (As Mandated by State)
