Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife Green Hills in West Liberty, OH seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) to provide compassionate resident care, assist with daily tasks, and document care. You’ll join a team that values person-centered service and partnership in caring.

We pay for CNA training, cover state test fees, and offer tuition reimbursement, plus comprehensive benefits and DailyPay access. Open interviews are held Tuesdays 2–4 pm; shifts include 6a–6p and 6p–6a.

Qualifications

• It must be Ohio CNA/STNA certified and active on the Nurse Aide Registry.
• Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to use lift technique and lift equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents needing help with bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide support under nurse supervision across tasks and routines.
• Support residents to be as independent and comfortable as possible.
• Ensure accurate, timely care documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN

Available Shifts: 6a-6p and 6p-6a

Pay: Starting from $18.50 increases with experience and $1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift, $2.00 shift differential for 3rd shift

Supplemental Pay: Shift Differential

Responsibilities

• Care for the residents who need assistance with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
• Help our residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.
• Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.
• Perform other duties as needs arise and/or assigned.

Qualifications

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be active/listed on the Nurse Aide Registry in Ohio.
• Experience: Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.
