Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in West Liberty, Ohio is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) to join our caring team. You will assist residents with daily tasks, support them under nursing supervision, and help maintain independence and comfort in a community that values person-centered care.

The role offers competitive pay starting at $18.50 per hour with shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company

Qualifications

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/STNA) certification required in Ohio.
• Active listing on the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry is required.
• Ability to use proper lift technique and equipment to move and transfer residents.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents needing assistance with daily tasks (bathing, eating, ambulating, hair care).
• Provide comprehensive support under nurse supervision.
• Help residents stay as independent and comfortable as possible.
• Document care accurately and timely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are under new ownership and new management. Formerly Green Hills Community we are now Otterbein Green Hills, a senior living community offering continuing care in West Liberty, a rural setting between Bellefontaine and Urbana, Ohio.

Available Shifts: 6a-6p; 6a-2p, and 6p-6a

Pay: Starting from $18.50 increases with experience and $1.00 shift differential for 2nd shift, $2.00 shift differential for 3rd shift

Supplemental Pay: Shift Differential

Responsibilities:

• Care for the residents who need assistance with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
• Help our residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.
• Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.
• Perform other duties as needs arise and/or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be active/listed on the Nurse Aide Registry in Ohio.
• Experience: Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.
