Job summary

Otterbein SeniorLife in Ohio is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA to join our caring team. You will assist residents with daily tasks, support nurses, and help maintain a respectful, person-centered environment.

Full-time or part-time roles on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts (11p–7a). Pay starts at $18.50/hour with shift differentials. Benefits include medical, vision and dental insurance, PTO, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, and access to daily pay.

Qualifications

• Ohio certification as CNA/STNA required.
• Experience with lifting and transfer techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents who need assistance with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
• Help residents feel comfortable and independent while they live their daily lives.

Job Types: Full-time or Part-Time 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift (11p-7a)

Pay: Starting from $18.50 increases with experience plus $3.00 2nd shift differential $1.50 for 3rd shift differential

Responsibilities:

• Care for the residents who need assistance with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care.
• Provide a wide range of support services under the supervision of a nurse.
• Help our residents feel comfortable and as independent as possible while they live their daily lives.
• Provide accurate, efficient and timely care documentation.
• Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them.
• Laundry and light housekeeping tasks.
• Perform other duties as needs arise and/or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
• Experience: Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents.
