Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support our caring nursing team in Norman, OK. You will assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming, hygiene, and meals, while ensuring comfort and dignity.

This role requires CNA certification per state regulations; prior experience is preferred but not mandatory. The position may require evenings and weekends to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold CNA certification per state regulations.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to assist with daily living activities and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (personal care, grooming, hygiene).
• Monitor residents' comfort and respond to needs.
• Document daily shift reports and resident records.
• Communicate urgent needs clearly to the Health Care Director.
• Manage assigned tasks within the shift and follow safety guidelines.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) as required by state regulations
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but it is not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
