Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Edmond, OK seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a part-time role to assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming, meals, and comfort.

You will join a caring team, with opportunities for evenings or weekends as needed. Attendance bonuses and shift differentials are offered, along with a supportive benefits program. Prior CNA experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required per state regulations.
• Previous CNA experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily care of residents (personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, meals).
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed.
• Document tasks (daily shift report, resident records).
• Communicate clearly with staff about urgent needs for the next shift and concerns to Health Care Director.
• Manage assigned tasks within the shift schedule.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements

We are looking for a committed individual with required certifications for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities of this position would include but not be limited to:

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but it is not required.
