Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Edmond, OK seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily living activities, including personal care, meals, and social engagement. You will monitor comfort, document tasks, and communicate needs to the Health Care Director.

State-certified CNA required; prior related experience is a plus but not mandatory. The role may require evening/weekend shifts; benefits include insurance, retirement, PTO, and bonuses such as attendance and shift

Qualifications

• CNA certification required by state regulations.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily care of residents including personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring residents' physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed.
• Documenting tasks such as daily shift reports, resident records, and negotiated service agreements.
• Communicating urgent needs and concerns clearly to the Health Care Director.
• Managing assigned tasks within the scheduled shift.
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements

We are looking for a committed individual with required certifications for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities of this position would include but not be limited to:

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but it is not required.
