Job summary

Legend Senior Living in Norman, OK is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate daily living assistance to residents, including personal care, grooming, meals, and mobility support.

This weekend shift role requires reliability, good communication with residents and staff, and adherence to safety and privacy guidelines. Experience is preferred but not required; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification as required by Oklahoma state regulations.
• Previous CNA experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to assist with activities of daily living.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily care: personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals.
• Monitor residents' physical and emotional comfort and respond as needed.
• Document completed tasks such as daily shift reports and resident records.
• Confidentially communicate urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements

We are looking for a committed individual with required certifications for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities of this position would include but not be limited to:

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but it is not required.
