Job summary

Legend Senior Living® in Edmond, OK seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming and meals. The role covers weekend shifts and may require evenings as needed, with emphasis on compassionate care and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification as required by state regulations.

• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (personal care, grooming, hygiene, meals).
• Monitor residents' comfort and respond to needs.
• Document tasks in daily shift reports and resident records.
• Communicate clearly to staff about urgent needs for next shifts and concerns to Health Care Director.
• Manage assigned tasks within scheduled shift and adhere to policies and safety guidelines.

Requirements

We are looking for a committed individual with required certifications for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities of this position would include but not be limited to:

• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident's physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
• Demonstrating the ability to manage assigned tasks within the scheduled shift
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but it is not required.
