Norris Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center in Andersonville, TN, is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, hands‑on care in a skilled nursing environment. You will support the nursing team to ensure safe, compassionate, and person‑centered care for residents.

Responsibilities include bathing, mobility assistance, vital signs, documentation, and maintaining a safe, home‑like setting. Training will be provided for the right candidate with a compassionate, resident‑focused

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current, unencumbered CNA certification in the state of Tennessee.
• Previous long‑term care/skilled nursing experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer residents with or without assistance and equipment.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, resident‑focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding as needed.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics and equipment.
• Measure and record vital signs, intake and output, and other observations as directed.
• Accurately document care provided and promptly report changes in resident condition to the nurse.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and home‑like environment for residents, families, and visitors.
• Support residents' dignity, preferences, and independence in accordance with care plans.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the interdisciplinary team to meet resident needs.
