Job summary

Avamere Rehabilitation at Park West is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for a full-time role in Seattle, WA. The schedule is a 4-on/2-off rotation, day shift from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with a wage of $23-$28 per hour depending on experience.

Responsibilities include providing routine daily nursing care per each resident's assessment and care plan, updating care plans, and assisting residents with daily activities while maintaining a warm and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment
• Have a 10th grade education or above
• Licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in this state

• Check each resident routinely to ensure personal care needs are met according to the care plan
• Review resident care plans daily and update routine as needed
• Inform nurse supervisor of changes so they can be entered into the care plan
• Assist residents with daily needs and transportation to appointments
• Maintain a warm, patient, and cheerful environment for residents
• Ensure resident rooms are prepared and comfortable
• Participate in facility surveys by government agencies
• Communicate resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and administrator

Job Summary

The primary responsibility as a Certified Nursing Assistant is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties And Job Responsibilities

• Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes
• Review resident care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident's daily care
• routine have been made on the care plan
• Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident's condition so that
• appropriate information can be entered on the resident's care plan
• Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments
• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and foster a calm and cheerful environment
• Ensure residents' rooms are ready for receiving and help residents feel comfortable
• Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies
• Effectively communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator
