Job summary

Avamere is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time and per diem roles at Avamere Olympic Rehab in Sequim, WA. Shifts include day, evening, and night, with a wage range of $23.50–$30/hour based on experience.

The position focuses on routine daily nursing care per the resident care plan and assessment. The role requires a valid CNA license in Washington, at least a 10th grade education, and active CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates compassion and dedication to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Check residents regularly to ensure personal care needs are met per wishes.
• Review care plans daily and note changes to routines.
• Inform nurse supervisor of changes in condition for care plan updates.
• Assist residents with daily activities and transport to appointments.
• Create a warm, calm environment and support resident comfort.
• Prepare rooms and assist with activities and program participation.
• Communicate vital information to nursing and administration as needed.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility as a Certified Nursing Assistant is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties And Job Responsibilities

• Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes


• Review resident care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident's daily care


• routine have been made on the care plan


• Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident's condition so that


• appropriate information can be entered on the resident's care plan


• Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments


• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and foster a calm and cheerful environment


• Ensure residents' rooms are ready for receiving and help residents feel comfortable


• Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies


• Effectively communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications

• Have a 10th grade education or above


• Be a licensed certified nursing assistant in this state


• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment
