Job summary

Avamere Queen Anne Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care per the resident's assessment and care plan. You will assist residents with daily needs and support participation in activities.

You must hold a WA CNA license, keep CPR/BLS active, and have at least a 10th grade education or higher. Shift options include day, evening and night with every other weekend rotation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Status: Full Time

Schedule: Day, Evening & Night Shift Available! Rotation includes every other weekend.

Wage: $23.50 - $28.50/hour DOE

Location: Avamere Queen Anne Healthcare - 2717 N Dexter Ave. Seattle, WA 98109

Job Summary

The primary responsibility as a Certified Nursing Assistant is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

• Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes.
• Review resident care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident’s daily care
• routine have been made on the care plan.
• Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident’s condition so that
• appropriate information can be entered on the resident’s care plan.
• Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments.
• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and foster a calm and cheerful environment.
• Ensure residents’ rooms are ready for receiving and help residents feel comfortable.
• Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
• Effectively communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Have a 10th grade education or above
• Be a licensed certified nursing assistant in this state
• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment
• Have a passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for our residents
