Job summary

Avamere is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Shoreline, WA. The role involves evening and night shifts with a rotating schedule. Location is Richmond Beach Rehab, Shoreline. Wage is $22.50–$27.50 hourly DOE, full-time status.

The CNA will provide routine daily nursing care, support residents per care plans, and collaborate with nursing staff to maintain a compassionate, safe environment. CPR/BLS active is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CNA license in WA state.
• Minimum 10th grade education or above.
• Active CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per resident assessments and care plans.
• Review and update care plans with changes in residents' daily care routines.
• Notify nurse supervisor of any changes in residents' condition for care plan updates.
• Assist residents with daily activities, including activities preparation and transportation to appointments.
• Create a warm, patient, and cheerful environment for residents.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility as a Certified Nursing Assistant is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties And Job Responsibilities

• Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes
• Review resident care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident's daily care
• routine have been made on the care plan
• Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident's condition so that
• appropriate information can be entered on the resident's care plan
• Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments
• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and foster a calm and cheerful environment
• Ensure residents' rooms are ready for receiving and help residents feel comfortable
• Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies
• Effectively communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator

Requirements and Qualifications

• Have a 10th grade education or above
• Be a licensed certified nursing assistant in this state
• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment
• Have a passion for caregiving and enhancing the quality of life for our residents
