Job summary

Avamere Rehab of Burien, part of Avamere Living, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for PRN shifts at our Burien, WA location. You will provide routine daily nursing care per care plans, support residents with daily activities, and help maintain a warm, calm environment.

Responsibilities include reviewing care plans, reporting changes to the nursing staff, and assisting with mobility and transportation to appointments. CPR/BLS current during employment is required.

Qualifications

• High school education or above (10th grade or higher).
• Licensed CNA in WA state.
• CPR/BLS certification required during employment.
• Passion for caregiving and enhancing residents’ quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per residents’ assessment and care plan.
• Review and adjust daily care plans as needed; report changes to the nurse supervisor.
• Inform nurse supervisor of changes in residents’ condition for care plan updates.
• Assist residents with daily activities and transportation to appointments.
• Create a warm, patient, enthusiastic environment for residents.
• Ensure rooms are prepared and residents are comfortable.
• Participate in facility surveys and communicate necessary information to nursing staff.

Wage: $23.50 - $31.00 DOE - $1 shift differential for EVE and $2 for NOC

Job Summary

The primary responsibility as a Certified Nursing Assistant is to provide each of your assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities

• Check each resident routinely to ensure that his/her personal care needs are being met in accordance with his/her wishes.
• Review resident care plans daily to determine if changes in the resident's daily care
• routine have been made on the care plan.
• Inform the nurse supervisor of any changes in the resident's condition so that
• appropriate information can be entered on the resident's care plan.
• Assist residents with daily needs, including preparation for activity and social programs, and transporting residents to/from appointments.
• Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and foster a calm and cheerful environment.
• Ensure residents' rooms are ready for receiving and help residents feel comfortable.
• Participate in facility surveys by authorized government agencies.
• Effectively communicate necessary resident information to charge nurses, director of nursing, and/or administrator.

• Must maintain and have an active CPR/BLS during employment
