Select Medical Rehabilitation in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time day and night shifts (12 hours, 7-7). Compensation ranges from $18.50 to $22.56 per hour plus shift differential, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

Our acute rehab unit emphasizes compassionate care for brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and neurological conditions. Responsibilities include vital signs, daily patient care, feeding, mobility assistance, and patient transport.

Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
• Active CNA license in the state of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, grooming).
• Delivering meals and feeding patients who cannot feed themselves; documenting oral intake.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely and supporting mobility programs.
• Answering call lights and assisting with activities that support patient well-being.
• Transporting patients to treatment areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub and shower), oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
• Must have active CNA license in the state

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience
