Job summary

Select Medical Rehabilitation - Tallahassee is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our acute rehabilitation unit inside Select Specialty Hospital.

This full-time 12-hour shift role offers day and night options, a competitive hourly wage of $17.23 to $21 based on experience, and a $3,500 sign-on bonus. Join a team focused on exceptional patient care for brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other complex conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a CNA or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Schedule: Full Time, 12hr shifts, Day and Night shift positions availableCompensation: $17.23 - $21 per hour (based on experience)

plus shift differential for night and weekend shifts

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
