Job summary

UF Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for night shifts. This full-time role runs 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM and offers hourly compensation ranging from $18.05 to $22.00 based on experience.

The CNA will assist with vital signs, daily care, meals, positioning, and patient transport in a rehabilitation setting. Minimum qualifications include active Florida CNA license and Certified BLS or completion within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in the state of Florida.
• BLS certification on hire or within first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
• Assist patients with daily care (bathing, oral hygiene, grooming).
• Deliver meals and assist feeding for patients unable to feed themselves.
• Turn and position immobile patients; assist in mobility programs.
• Respond to patient call lights; provide services that support patient well-being.
• Transport patients to designated areas for treatment.

• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing (bed bath, chair at sink, tub and shower), oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.

Minimum Qualifications
