Job summary

Select Medical Rehabilitation - Madison is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our acute rehabilitation unit at the Madison facility. This full-time day-shift role focuses on comprehensive patient care, vital signs, hygiene, nutrition support, mobility, and timely documentation to support recovery.

Qualifications include an active CNA license in Wisconsin and BLS certification or completion within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have active CNA license in the state.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely and maintaining proper body alignment.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services for patient well-being.
• Transportation of patients to designated areas and treatment centers.

• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility program.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that add to the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transportation of the patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
• Must have active CNA license in the state

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience
