Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Tallahassee, FL is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time day shift. Florida CNA license required; BLS within 90 days. Expect 12-hour day shifts with a comprehensive orientation and strong career growth opportunities.

Compensation ranges from $17.23 to $21 per hour, with a $3,500 sign-on bonus. The role includes patient bathing, oral care, feeding support, rounds, transport assistance, and maintaining cleanliness and stock across the unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds and assist transporters in moving patients.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and maintain cleanliness of equipment.
• Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms and restock supplies as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
