Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital San Antonio Inc. in Panama City, FL, seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time, day shift. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Compensation ranges from $16.73 to $22.50 per hour plus weekend shift differential. The hospital provides extensive orientation, RN scholarships, tuition reimbursement, clinical ladder, comprehensive medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and life/disability coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 3+ years relevant work experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, CNA certification, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks including bathing with basin-less products and oral hygiene.
• Assist with oral feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and stocked with supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
