Job summary

BrightStar Care of Omaha is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for daytime, in-home care in Omaha, NE and surrounding areas. You will provide one-on-one support to clients, helping with daily activities and maintaining independence with dignity.

The role offers 12-hour day shifts (7 AM–7 PM), competitive pay of $16.00–$19.00 hourly based on experience, weekly pay, and ongoing training in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in Nebraska.
• Previous home care experience required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver's license and insured vehicle.
• Strong communication, dependability, and organizational skills.
• Genuine passion for helping others with person-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, hygiene).
• Assist with transfers and mobility.
• Assist with medication reminders and meal prep.

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing care team. In this role, you will provide personalized, one-on-one care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life during the day.

Shift & Schedule Details

• Hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Schedule: Full-time work availability

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene)
• Assist with safe transfers and mobility support
• Assist with medication reminders and meal preparation
• Provide meaningful companionship and ensure a safe home environment
• Document care notes and communicate effectively with the care management team
