Job summary

BrightStar Care of Omaha is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day shifts in Omaha, NE. You will provide compassionate, one-on-one in-home care to clients, supporting daily activities and helping maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

This full-time position offers shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, competitive pay, weekly pay, and opportunities for ongoing training and growth within a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Active Nebraska CNA license.
• CPR certification currently valid.
• Previous home care experience preferred.

• Pay Rate: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour (based on experience)


• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM


• Location: Omaha, NE and surrounding areas


• Start Date: Immediate Start Available

About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our growing care team. In this role, you will provide personalized, one-on-one care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life during the day.

Shift & Schedule Details

• Hours: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)


• Schedule: Full-time work availability

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene)


• Assist with safe transfers and mobility support


• Assist with medication reminders and meal preparation


• Provide meaningful companionship and ensure a safe home environment


• Document care notes and communicate effectively with the care management team

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active CNA License in the state of Nebraska


• Previous home care experience required


• Current CPR Certification


• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured personal automobile


• A genuine passion for helping others and providing high-quality, person-centered care


• Strong communication, dependability, and organizational skills
