Job summary

Executive Home Care of Omaha is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for the day shift in Omaha, NE to provide compassionate, non-medical care to seniors at home.

You will support daily living activities, maintain clients' independence, and ensure safety, with a focus on dementia care and quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum age of 20.
• Active CNA license.
• English communication skills sufficient for client care and team coordination.
• Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform essential caregiving duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with the care team.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Compassion, reliability, and professionalism.
• Smartphone compatible with the WellSky app for timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support daily routines.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and other daily living activities.
• Prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and assist with errands and transportation.
• Provide medication reminders and assist with safe transfers.
• Document care provided and report changes or concerns.
