Job summary

Apploi is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing facility team in Omaha, NE. You will provide high-quality resident care, assist with daily living activities, mobility, vital signs, documentation, and infection control, while collaborating with nurses and physicians to ensure safe, compassionate care.

The role offers full-time/part-time schedules with every other weekend shifts, and benefits include paid sick leave.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in Nebraska required.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Resident Care: Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Mobility Assistance: Help residents with mobility issues, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Take and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
• Documentation: Accurately document all care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and any other pertinent information in electronic health records.
• Communication: Report any changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to the nursing staff or supervisor in a timely manner.
• Supportive Tasks: Assist with feeding, preparing meals, and providing companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Infection Control: Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physicians, to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care.
