Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Omaha in Omaha, NE seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for full-time day shifts. You will assist patients with bathing, oral care, mobility, and daily routines, while supporting a clean, safe care environment.

This role offers $20.51–$25.00/hour with up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus. We provide orientation, RN scholarship, tuition reimbursement, clinical ladder, PTO, and a 401(k) plan to support your growth and well-being.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital or related care experience with CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient bathing, oral hygiene, feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds and assist transport as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments, bedpans and wheelchairs.
• Keep patient rooms clean and stocked as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
