Select Specialty Hospital - Durham is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU care. We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and support patients through bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and mobility.

This full-time day shift offers oriented onboarding, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for professional growth through scholarships and continuing education.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital CNA experience or CNA certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform patient bathing, oral hygiene, feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to treatment centers as needed and assist with transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)
