Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Durham is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our night shift team in Durham, NC. This full-time role runs 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.

and offers a competitive hourly wage with a $2,500 sign-on bonus, plus strong orientation and career growth opportunities. You will provide compassionate patient care, assist with daily activities, participate in hourly rounds, and help transport patients as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing with basin-less products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist transporters with moving patients.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
