Job summary

THRYVE Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in supporting residents with daily living activities. The CNA will work closely with a clinical team to ensure health, comfort, and dignity for residents.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Current CPR certification required
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with physical mobility needs

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide hydration between meals
• Support residents with mobility, incl. ambulating, turning, and positioning
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output
• Ensure resident comfort and promptly respond to call lights and requests
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and observations
• Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards
• Comply with federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines
• Stay current through CNA certification and educational opportunities
• Perform other duties as assigned
