Job summary

THRYVE of Burbank is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily living activities in a bustling Illinois care setting. You will work PRN on weekends, two shifts per month minimum, and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team to maintain comfort and dignity.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, grooming, meals, mobility, vital signs documentation, and prompt response to call lights.

Qualifications

• Must hold current CNA certification per state law.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities: bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing.
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, provide water and nourishment between meals.
• Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning.
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output.
• Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests.
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations.
• Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards.
• Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines.
• Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Long-term care experience preferred

• Current CPR certification required

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with physical mobility needs
