THRYVE Healthcare in Crestwood, IL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily living activities in a caring, team-based environment.

The role involves bathing, dressing, feeding assistance, mobility support, and documenting care while maintaining HIPAA privacy. Shifts are 3-11pm and 11pm-7am, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA certification.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Long-term care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing).
• Serve meals, assist with feeding and provide nourishment between meals.
• Support mobility including ambulation, turning and positioning.
• Monitor vital signs, weight, intake and output; document observations.
• Respond to call lights; ensure resident comfort and safety.
• Report changes to nursing supervisor; maintain HIPAA privacy.
• Maintain accurate care documentation; comply with regulations.
• Pursue CNA certification maintenance and participate in trainings.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing

• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals

• Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning

• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output

• Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests

• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations

• Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards

• Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines

• Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification

• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in accordance with state law

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Long-term care experience preferred

• Current CPR certification required

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with physical mobility needs
