Job summary

THRYVE Healthcare in Illinois is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily living activities and collaborate with our clinical team.

As a CNA, you will help with bathing, grooming, meals, mobility, and vital signs, while maintaining HIPAA standards and documentation. Shifts include 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CNA certification as per state law.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Prior long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing).
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals.
• Support residents with mobility (ambulating, turning, positioning).
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output.
• Ensure resident comfort and respond to call lights and requests.
• Report changes to the nursing supervisor and maintain documentation.
• Uphold resident privacy and HIPAA compliance and facility standards.
• Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines.
• Stay current through ongoing CNA education and certification maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing

• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals

• Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning

• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output

• Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests

• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor

• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations

• Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards

• Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines

• Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification

• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in accordance with state law

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Long-term care experience preferred

• Current CPR certification required

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with physical mobility needs
